Username and password are required for Members to enter the site
Login information is given to clients who registered as Members and allows them to go to the Member's Homepage. From the Member's Homepage, Members have access to most of the functions.
It is required to become a Member. The information is used to create a profile.
Registration is made in three easy steps. Step 1: username, password, email address, gender, age, state, zip code. Step 2: personal information such as: ethnicity, religion, relationship status...etc Step 3: Identity name (name people will use to identify or contact a Member), title of the profile and a description of the person registering.
Allows Visitors and Members to search for profiles, based on gender and age.
This function allows Visitors and members to search rapidly the database to see if any profile could be interesting. It is intended to be fast and is based on primary criteria such as gender and age. It is very general and will yield a larger number of profiles. Members who do not want to Login can see if new profiles were added since they last searched.
From the Homepage, a pop-up window takes visitors through the site, showing them the major functions.
The Quick Tour is a sequential series of windows opening to show visitors the various phases of the site, from the Homepage, without having them to register or be Paid Members. At the end of the show, the visitors are taken automatically to the Register page where they can sign up and become Members.
Members can search for profiles close to their location, based on the zip code entered.
When creating a profile, a Member is asked to enter his zip code. That information is then sent to the database and used to retrieve profiles within the specified distance of the member's profile.
Members can add a photo to their profile. A profile with a photo has better chances to be selected.
Members can upload themselves a photo to be added to their profile. The photo must be a certain format (JPEG) and meet our criteria for size. Once the administrator approves the photo it is automatically posted on the profile. Members can change their photo but it will have to be approved each time by the Admin before being posted.
Modify my Profile is important because when a Member created a profile while registering, only basic information were asked. This function allows the Member to add more information to his profile and even modify the description. Some information entered at this point will have to be approved by the Admin before the new profile can be posted.
Paid Members can upload up to 10 photos to their Private Photo Gallery.
Paid Members can upload themselves up to 10 photos to their Private Photo Gallery. The photos still have to be approved by the Admin but they are not visible to the public. A special request has to be made by a Member to access the Private Photo Gallery. Members only, can authorize or refuse the access to their Private Photo Gallery. Photos can be changed by the "Private Photo Gallery" owner at any time.
A Paid Member can delay the expiry date of his membership.
When a Paid Member wants to go on vacation or has met someone and does not want to be "active" for a while, he can "freeze" his account for 30 days. His profile will not be visible to the public and whatever days he had left on his membership will be "frozen" for 30 days or until he re-activates his account before the end of the 30 day period. If a Member subscribes for one month, he is allowed one "time out". If he subscribes for three months, he is allowed three "time out' and so on.
A Member can search for another Member by using the Identity Name only.
If a Member wants to find another Member and knows only the Identity Name, he can find that Member by entering completely or partially his Identity Name. For example, a Member saw the profile of "Daredevil" and did not save it in his Love Basket but would like to get in touch with that Member. Simple! He goes to the Member's Homepage and selects Identity Search and enters "Daredevil" or "dare" or "devil"...etc and a list of profiles having an Identity Name that fits the request will be displayed.
Members have the option to create a profile of the ideal soul mate they are looking for.
Members can create a search profile based on a minimum of nineteen criteria such as: gender, age, height, location, ethnicity, body type, religion, have children, want children, marital status, smoking habit, drinking habit, hair color, eye color, education, occupation, income, photo and distance from member's zip code. The system will keep the information stored in the Member's file and it can be modified at any time.
Based on the Search Profile created, the system will retrieve only members that fit the description.
When a Member logs in, he can do an Instant Profile Search and the system will show him only the Members that fit the description entered in Profile Search. This function allows a Member to see immediately the profiles that could be interesting for him to contact. Of course, these profiles can be saved in the Love Basket.
Members can earn 50% of the membership purchased by a friend they refer.
A Member can send an email to a friend, asking that friend to sign up on the site, using the special link provided. When that friend purchases a membership, the Member that referred the friend sees his account upgraded to the status of Paid Member for 50% of the value of the purchased membership. If the friend subscribed for 3 months, the Member becomes a Paid Member for 45 days. If that Member was already a Paid Member, his account will be credited automatically an extra 45 days. Members can refer as many friends as they want.
Paid Members can see the expiry date of their membership.
Paid Members can verify at any time the exact date (dd/mm/yyyy) their membership (paid subscription) will expire and go to Subscribe and add more time.
Once a Member is registered, he can purchase a membership that allows him to have access to all the features.
Clients must register first to become a Member and create a profile. Members can purchase a membership for one month, three months, six months or twelve months. Payment is made by credit card and the total process is done automatically: credit card verified, payment accepted, membership status activated and money deposited in bank account. A Member can subscribe immediately upon registering or at any time later.
